This 60 minute class is $30/class. When you sign up and pay for the session the price per class is discounted to $22.50/class. Register online today though The Last Carnival calendar page

Teen Silks / Hammock Level 2

Teen Aerial Silks Class level 2 class is for students who know the basic moves and have the strength for inversions and moves in the air.  New moves will be taught each week, giving the students a wide vocabulary of skills built on the basics of what was taught in previous silks level 1 or carny classes. One focus of teens’ aerial silks will be on problem solving and understanding what makes a move, how the knots happen, how to transition in them, and how to get out of them safely. At this level students are allowed to begin practicing drop motions.

Teen Silks / Hammock Level 3

Once teens have moved onto level 3 we begin to explore aerial movements on a number of different vertical based apparatuses including aerial silks, hammock, and corde lisse. This is for students who have been training with us for a few years and have shown the focus, strength, and flexibility to learn bigger movements, longer sequences, and to begin to focus on silks theory. In silks theory we spend multiple months on one idea to help students create their own pathways into and out of movements and to have an overall deeper understanding of silks knots. Silks theory not only helps students open up in their choreographical creativity, it helps with injury prevention since they will really understand how to get into and out of knots if any wrap does not go as planned.
